Dishing up something delicious every day
We pride ourselves as Devon's only floating "gastro shed" and work hard to create the best dining experience from carefully chosen ingredients.
Don't forget we often have daily specials.
We like to use only the freshest local ingredients wherever possible. We are lucky enough to have some of the best food producers in Devon on our doorstep and take full advantage.
WE ARE OPEN TUESDAY TO SUNDAY FROM THE 1ST APRIL TO THE 30TH SEPTEMBER.
(NOTE: We are closed on Mondays with the exception of Bank Holidays)
WE KEEP IT LOCAL, KEEP IT FRESH AND KEEP IT TASTING GREAT
FRESH FISH and SEAFOOD
We are proud to have permission from DEFRA to have freshly caught fish delivered to the restaurant from local fishermen. World Champion gig-rower Ian Donohue is one local fisherman who often supplies our lobsters from his vessel 'Girl Scout'.
We also use Devon Quality Fish (Exmouth). We often see our fishermen at work as they pass the restaurant. Our Chef cleverly adapts our Specials Menu to incorporate the local catch. Our oysters are supplied by Dorset Oysters and are farmed sustainably in the shores of Brownsea Island, Poole Harbour.
MEAT, DAIRY, FRUIT AND VEGETABLES
We are proud to work with Westcountry; A Passion for Food family run business who have been trading in the Southwest since 1856. We also work with M J Baker, a family run independent business based in the West Country. Family-owned Philip Dennis also supply some of our ingredients, along with Forest Produce. We use Greendale to source our meat, a local East Devon business that has many years of history.
Baboo Gelato supplies some of our gelato at the restaurant. Set up in 2015 it has its base in Bridport, Dorset. We also enjoy Farmer Tom's luxury ice cream. it is made in Holsworthy Devon from whole milk from their own dairy herd which munch on the Devon pastures.
Our extensive drinks menu includes a number of local suppliers. We serve local beers including Hanlons Yellow Hammer (on tap). We also serve Devon Craft Lager on tap. Our local ciders are from Sam’s Cider (Winkleigh Poundhouse), Annings as well as Sandford Orchards. For local wines we are supplied by Pebblebed in Topsham and Sharpham in the Teign Valley. Our fruit juices are sourced locally from Frobishers and Luscombe. We also serve the Exmouth Gin, Copper Frog as well as other Devon Gins; Teignmouth, Salcolmbe, Plymouth, Wicked Wolf (Exmoor). We are pleased to have Exmouth's very own George from Spoken's Quick Gin. We have recently begun our relationship with Two Drifters Brewery and have their Rum on our menu. Russ and Gemma work from their carbon negative distillery in Exeter. Many of our drink products are supplied to us by Tolchards.
Murray from The Fresh Coffee Company (Exeter) supplies our 'High Quality Coffee with a story to tell!' Our teabags are from Devonshire Tea whose high-grade tea is from ethical estate and are packed without plastic or staples.
We are also supplied by Olleco, Flogas, CP Nitro, Apparelmaster and South West Chemical.
